US-based Samara Aerospace is building a new type of highly stable satellite designed to detect very weak radio signals from space that many current satellites miss. Its technology keeps satellites extremely steady, similar to how image stabilization works in a camera, allowing them to capture more precise information without the vibration that limits traditional systems. This can be useful for defense applications, such as tracking fast-moving threats, as well as commercial and civil uses, such as monitoring ships, aircraft, and other assets around the world.
